Human plants
22 sculptures – all in all 3.2 tonnes of steel and
iron – all of which tell a story which mirrors
mankind. Perhaps these strange beings from Ludwig
Haas – half human, half plant - wish to annoy us in
our vanity and ignorance ("planting us as fools"),
but maybe they wish to touch on our innocence.
They wish to make us aware of how we treat
Nature and with their life cycle, which ranges from
the actual creation, growth, flourishing, to an
unexpected end, they wish to point out new
possibilities of how we can live together hand in
hand.
